The representation of disability in mainstream American films from the dawn of the industry to the present. Current study only covers from the first films to maybe the year 2000 or so, so I'm also presenting my own findings on the themes and stereotypes found in more current films, such as Beautiful Mind, Austin Powers, Pirates of the Caribbean, Radio, etc.
