i dont like to hear "its better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all" its utterly worthless. but your writing is good. minus the spelling errors. <3 Nicole.
I agree with the "it is better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all" theory, having learnt from experience the different paths that can be chosen after a break-up, the path of acceptance may not seem the easiest to begin with, in the long run though it is the easiest to live with.
It is better to have loved and lost, so long as you come to terms with the loss. If peace is never made or understanding never reached, then it can leave an injury on your sould, which will fester and manifest itself in some other relationship down the road. It isn't better to have loved, until you realize that the loss of the love was something necessary or positive. You can't move on from someone if the ties of your affection are not severed. You can't get past someone if you wish you hadn't broken up.
But if peace is made, then lost love brings experience, insight, and a more profound understanding of love, and you will be better equipped to share a more full love with a partner down the road.
Well, that's how it seems to me anyways. I still have much life and experience ahead of me.
