I want to defend on Valentine's Day. If I can make this happen (I'm more worried about the professors all being able to meet specifically on that day more than me finishing by then) it will make it the second best Valentine's Day I've ever had. I somehow don't forsee defending something you've worked so hard on as being a problem. I love the symbolism of kicking the crap out of it on V-day, but whenever you do it, you'll own it hardcore. Best of luck.

I was going to say, defending on Valentine's day will be awesome, because that way in the future it won't be "oh, woe is me, eff happy shiny lovey dovey people," it'll be, "X number of years ago today I had a huge personal accomplishment."
