I just found out my mother isn't getting me anything for christmas this year because I'm atheist. In my opinion christmas does not really celebrate jesus anymore. People don't really care about that. They care about being with people they care about, and giving and getting gifts. At least in my eyes.

But yeah, anyway...that's...really harsh of your mom. And it seems to me that if she is really devoted to whatever religion she is, she should have more tolerance for others. I'm sorry to hear about that, and I hope things turned out well.
