Have to admit that I am quite tense tonight. I applied for a job about a month ago and I have now had 1 telephone interview, 3 face-to-face interviews and done a maths test, a case study and a set of logic problems. Good luck hon!

Remember what you said to me when I left SDRO? That I had to give CPM a chance, cos I hated it at first. Now I like it and am fishing around for a permanent position, or at least a contract extension.

Having said that, there is a possibility that you will hate your new job. Look at T's example.

Maybe I'm not as helpful as I think I will be. Still, living in London would be cool. Imagine all the shows you could go to (Nick Cave plays frequently!)

I'm hoping my example was the exception, not the rule...

And I agree, living in London has its perks. I think I might be a bit jealous of our JonJon if he gets the job in London. ;-) (jealous but very happy for him!)

Oh honey, you KNOW i am totally there with you. It's kind of comforting to know someone else who is going through all this at the same time as me.

Good luck, and don't think about the possibility of hating the job. Gotta take these things in baby steps. Once you have it, if you hate it then, yeah it means having to go through the job hunting crap again, but on the plus side you have an income whilst doing so...

Anyway, I'm trying to remain positive, despite the stress and various fears. You and I will both find fabulous jobs that pay well and that we love.
