The Book of I

Apr 15, 2006 10:50

I open up to her
spread the pages of my soul
that is the book if I
wide open

The pages part slowly
each one as colorful
as every facet of my being
my heart

as her eyes are diverted
and her mind wanders
a book placed back on the shelf
I cry

-My own self

I should have figured you'd be the only one to comment lol. I think you're the only one that even still reads this thing. Thank you for the compliments (even though I expected nothing less from you). Maybe someday you will get to read more of my stuff.
