Also purchased a DS recently, just because I decided I have to have one. Meanwhile my poor PSP sits on my shelf collecting dust. And no, I didn't even get a DS lite--the only one I could find was one of the originals (mine is teal, though I longed for red) and I was only able to get that because it was used (though in perfect condition). Could've received a Lite from NCSX.com. That's where I got mine. I advise you to get Ossu Tatakae Ouendan. Phoenix Wright AKA Gyakuten Saiban is great, too.

yo i was checking out your journal cuz i saw something you wrote on the eikaiwa forum, and i was wondering how you felt about nova. should i wait it out for jet?

that depends on what your expectations are. If you are looking for an easy job in a foreign country for a little while and are a fairly laid-back person (ie have no problems with mega corporations), then NOVA is the job for you. Otherwise, I say go with JET. People have both good and bad experiences with NOVA--but honestly most of the people I know, including myself, have had bad.
