I don't wanna say anything wrong so I'll just say I hope you feel better soon. And that I totally agree with your philosophy on sending out invitations because it feels like asking for money. When I graduated, I knew the people who would actually come to my graduation already knew about it and sending invites to people I didn't know (hardly) felt tacky.
