I posted a project on Donorschoose.org this week. It's a site where teachers can post things they need or would like for their classroom and people(who want to) donate to whichever project they would like.
So far I have 0 donors but my project has only been posted for about 24 hours and it is the weekend. Hopefully, it will be funded.(fingers -
School
A couple more weeks and we'll be back in school. I can't believe the summer's gone by so fast. But I'm actually looking forward to this year. I'm back in first grade where I belong so its going to be a wonderful year! -
Leland's funeral
I'm back from my cousin's funeral at Arlington and I have to say that was one of the most beautiful services I've ever been to. For anyone who doesn't know what I'm talking about, here's the short version: My mother's cousin Leland was in a plane that was shot down in WWII.(1944) The plane wasn't found until 2004 when the Bent Prop Project ( Read more... ) -

Trip
We got word from my aunt yesterday that the ceremony/funeral for mom's cousin is going to be April 29. We don't know what time yet or any of the details just the date and place. So I've been looking up hotels around Arlington trying to find one that's affordable and nice. (It's turning out to be a lot harder than I thought ( Read more... ) -
Writing
Writing has suddenly gotten next to impossible for me. It's not exactly writer's block because I do get a little written in a week. But its nothing like I'm used to. I used to be able to sit down in the evening and easily write the next chapter of a story or even a one shot. Now I'm lucky if I get a couple of paragraphs done in two or three ( Read more... ) -
Tae Kwon Do
I tested this morning in Tae Kwon Do and one of the ladies videoed me during the board breaking.
The camera makes me look way bigger than I actually am but I wanted to share it anyway.

Snow!
Woo hoo! It snowed! For the first time in years we had a few inches of snow on the ground! Of course it only lasted a day and a half but it was still a blast playing in the snow. And everything was so pretty. I wished it had stayed a little longer.

Birthday

Tired
I'm totally exhausted right now. They changed Tae Kwon Do from one hour to two and the second hour just about does me in. Thankfully we practice board breaking first. I'd be way too worn out to break anything at the end.
Just glad we didn't have to do the push-up game tonight cause I don't think I could have made it through those sets.
