Alrighty people. Went to look at a few cars today, but also need suggestions on car insurance. Let me know what y'all use, or recommend. So far, looked into AllState, Ste Farm, Progressive, and Erie.

I used to have Erie and loved 'em. Switched to Geico about a year ago due to cost. Definitely saved a buck or two, lol. My manager at work highly recommended Geico to me as he's had them for insurance for several years and they didn't skimp on parts needed after traffic incidents. I'm not sure what Alex's family has. I do eventually want to go back to Erie since they've been my parents' insurance company for ages and they've always done right by our family. It's just too costly. :(

Seconded.... although I can't say I've got the 50 bucks deal... mine's 85. Not sure what xscottsetsfirex is driving, but I'm driving a 2004 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart, sporty car, slightly higher insurance.

Yeah, state farm was my over-all lowest from the quotes, but it was 96/month, but it was bare minimum coverage. If I went with say, Erie, I'd actually only be 108 with good coverage and low deductibles.

Then again, does anyone else in your family use State Farm/are you with someone else on your policy? That tends to lower amounts. Also, i'm still before the 25 year old deduction, as far as I can tell.

Solo on my plan, decent coverage, pretty sure I'm running a $500 deductable. I hit 25 in June and up until mid September the woman was still on my insurance, so it was 2 people on the plan then I couldn't give you an accurate pre-25 price for me.

My dad has State Farm, but he's got his own policy.
