Get the cheese and crackers out

Over a year now since my last real update (web comic commentary doesn't count). A part of me tells me to just ditch and delete this journal, that I should stick with the short updates on Facebook (Max DeWolfe if you're interested). But this is oddly similar to the inner voice which is telling me to tidy up and get my affairs in order so that I can ( Read more... )

Thanks for the support. As tough as it is, I'm hanging in there. I'm not obsessing as much as my post may seem to imply, but as soon as I will be seeing if one of the local clinics can do some cheap neurological assessment (probably not but no harm asking), otherwise I wait for health insurance.

The yahooid keeps me from knowing who this is and I'm afraid to guess (haven't been keeping up w. friends' journals).

Yeah, that OpenID thing did not work as I expected it would! This is funniculee from 43Things. I bookmarked your blog awhile back and the feed was just sitting in a folder, waiting for you to update it.

Another site I've been away from for a while. I haven't made much progress on any of my goals so haven't been keeping in touch. Maybe this week...

I'm going to press them on that, but in my experience temp agencies don't like to move you from wherever they put you. I'll ask, but there's more hope in getting something better through another agency.

I'll be checking in with one agency tomorrow and doing some testing. I hope to check in on Wednesday with another and to put in an application at Shopper's and Walmart.

I'll get some sleep come Thursday and should be getting more after that.

I figure UPS is nearly a sure thing until after xmas. Nothing really pays well for me as I don't have a degree or any sellable skill set, but I will be as choosy as I can.

If I can make the time for studying, I can at least be qualified for entry level stuff with the first exam under my belt this spring. I may be hampered by the fact that I am not presently on a degree track, which I gather from job postings is generally assumed.
