I almost fell over this interesting URL seen in a newsgroup today:

While on Google Groups you can search for usenet messages, the above URL lets you check also the activity of groups, statistical trends over the year and shorter periods. the most important threads of that group (i.e. the topics with the most replies). the most active users in that group there and
- hold fast to your chair! -
even their profile - how often they post messages and on which topics.
Of course, little curious Maxie examined her appearance there! Oh my god, do they still track all my silly questions there? :-)
