I have to call you and tell you the low-down on my NYC trip to see Edward II, an early Christmas present from BR--though you could just read Sabina's page and find out all about it since she beat me to the punch.
A very nice present from BR which you definitely deserve. I moseyed over to Sabina's LJ to read all about your adventure and it would appear that all of you had a wonderful time. I'm curious as to why Randy recognized Sabina. I've seen and talked to Gale three times (sigh) and I know darn well that he would never recognize me. This sounds interesting. The play sounds marvelous but my entertainment budget was spent on seeing Les Miz. I'm so glad that you enjoyed it so much.
I've been to The Silver Swan and the food was great. I was, of course, the only one at the table who didn't drink beer. Sabina's cousin owns the place? Nice!

I'm really sorry that your daughter can't get to you for Christmas and that you'll probably miss her birthday also. I hope the MIL gets coal in her stocking! I thought I was going to be alone this year but I got rescued by friends that I love and the feeling is mutual. My thoughts will be with you.
