Had a pretty good weekend. Friday was very interesting, Saturday was relaxing and very good, and Sunday was awesome and hillarious (First ever Piston's game). It was a little sad at the end of the weekend, but all in all, I had a good time. It was good to see friends I haven't seen in a while. I can't wait until next weekend!

I hate our Government, and I'll tell you why. I hate doing my taxes most of all. I make, what I think is, a lot of money and then I have to give it all to the Government! I made over $9,000 in just a few months (April to February), and for some stupid reason, I only get to take home $500 after filing my taxes!!! Do you see now why I hate our ( Read more... )

So, I went over to my grandma's house to hem my pants, and while I was hemming my pants, my grandma gave me a folder that had some papers in it. I opened the folder, and low and behold, I have a trust fund. My grandma started it about 10 years back for each of the 12 grandchildren. Happy Chrishannaukakawazaa!!!

I just found out today that my 1-week off vacation is paid!!! YES!!!

I have awesomely good news to share!!! As part of the year-end bonus from the ACS, my whole office and I have received the week between December 26 and December 30th off! Which means, I will be on vacation from December 22nd through January 3rd! How awesome is that?

God, I love my life!

My job is awesome! I'm really going to be learning a lot. I'm in charge of the finance and accounting, third-party events, general admin. work, and volunteer coordination. Needless to say, I'll be quite busy during the day and really tired at night. So, as of now, I won't be updating my livejournal like I used to. I'll still check it ever so ( Read more... )
