What's prolly my second favourite thing in TS2 is the building shit and decorating. I'm by no means a master architect, but I find I have more fun creating the houses than actually play with them. This is second only to my love of taking pictures--put these two obsessions together, and you get a hell of a lot of buildspam. >_<.
Don't worry, I'm not under any delusions that anyone besides me actually cares about buildspam, which is why I'm posting the gen 1 buildspam here and not diluting the actual update with it (much ._.). Plus, I can finally get the junk off my harddrive, which is always a good time!
Most houses have one specific style. You know, Victorian, Tudor, Bohemian--it's just that cracked walls and great out-of-place towers are like the Muscles family style.
I'm never happy with my window placements. :D
This is the only bit of the original rubble that I kept. It seemed kind of fitting to keep the first room built fully intact.
Here's the entrance hall. There's nothing in it, really. >_<. They had a hell of a lot of money post-uni, what with the obsessive painting and pottery and restorable cars and all, but not enough for an end table or two in here, evidently.
This will be a little office at some point. Interior windows FTW.
Oh yeah, they stole were given a whack of pottery by Eire.
Right here's the lounge, and the kitchen's just around the corner. This is a high-profile room 'cos they're all fat. :D

This here's Beretta's room, for now. I'm such a nerd that my Sims have favourite colours.
The rest of the room. A lot of people come in here for no reason whatsoever, it's weird. D: The womrat's in the other corner there, which might be the reason.
All the bathrooms have en suites, as cheap a bathroom-managing tactic as that is. :P

The back of their house is kind of funny. I like the left side there, but the rest is all jutting and grah.
This is going to be the cemetary once folk start dropping dead.
I think this is my second time trying to build a CFE kind of platform thinger. I forgot to change the floor tiles before adjusting heights, though. :P.
