Instant lose!

I lost instantly for doing my Zuda in the wrong format. Hahah kind of funny right?

And I just wanted to clear up why I did the format I did, ( I knew it was a gamble, but I honestly didn't think I'd get
rejected on the basis. )  What I wanted to do was give the reader PLENTY of story, my least favorite Zuda comics, are
the ones where not a lot ( Read more... )

Don't do it on Zuda! Just do it on your own site, then you can sell your own t-shirts, books and advertising and make your own money!

And you can do it HOWEVER YOU WANT! Fuck em!

Hey Amy!

Ahhh I get what you're saying, that's the sort of thing that's totally hard to catch when you're drawing it. I'm going to make a note of that and put it on my desk.

I have to find a way to use more close up shots, and still have that freame of reference, I think with better constructed backrounds I could do that...

What did you think of the dialogue? That seemed to be pretty weak to me and other people....I think im going to start writing out the dialogue before I actually draw it, It was kind of slapped onto the art, and...well I guess that was a bad idea.

Thanks for your opinions dude, I appreciate them :)

PS. Having an editor at DC, do they really help you hammer out those issues? Or is that mostly you, just fixing your own work?

I do thumbs with loose dialogue ( I only write down whats important ) But it's mostly notes on what the character is indicating. I don't flesh it out till later. But yeah I will keep that in mind.

Ahh...The Editor you knew from Tokyopop...Brandon was it? I have a friend who is a friend of his. Unfortunately I have yet to actually meet him but I hear a lot about him. You're pretty lucky to snag such a dynamic.

Hahah you say that so straight laced. I don't exactly know what where I fit in, each of my projects is an experiment, but I'm always trying to make something people will enjoy at the same time.
What I'd really like is a solid comics job, so i can eat while I improve. Ha.

Forget Zuda. What do they know anyway? Other than how to use other people's creativity to make a profit for themselves.

You'll always be a winner in my eyes Maximo. Even if they won't let you compete.
