My AC at the apartment sputtered to death last night. It was a hot and sticky night (~84F), and it cooled off a bit this morning from the rain (~78F) but now it's back to 82F. It's supposed to get up to 89F today, I hope they fix it before it does. I'm lucky it didn't do this when it was 95F outside

That's not a bad idea. I'll keep it in mind if something like this happens again.

But they fixed it within a few hours of when I called it in, and it wasn't that much of an inconvenience. It was actually nice to sit on my porch with the ceiling fan on.
