The AFP doesn't take much time to check their translations.

It's shitty english: the girls were sent out by their extreme-right parents for propaganda.

Ever wonder why they (Arabs, Muslims, and most of the rest of the world) hate us?
We created Israel after WW2. Give them all of our F-16's and don't care that for every 12 Jews killed... Israel retaliates by killing 200 with their helicopter gunships.

Oh... and FYI... the Palestinians were actually there first if that is what you want to believe this is all about.

I was trying to point out that the Israelis are just as bloodthirsty as the Palestinians, who are more often portrayed as villians in the media.

So long as the evangelical christians have a stranglehold on American foreign policy in the mideast, there won't be peace. Depending on who you talk to, they're either trying to provoke Armageddon or induce a rapture.

The UN's plan for a divided state: one Israel, the other Palestine, and Jerusalem held as a neutral independant zone controlled by the UN, seems to be the only compromise that could make any sense right now. I wouldn't hold my breath on that though.

How's he figure? I've never heard of the AFP faking a picture, and this is the kind of stunt I wouldn't put past the Israeli far-right.

Note the orange hairbands.

He said something about the shading on top, but I am not even sure what he was talking about. I do know, however, that he has been working with computer graphics for a very long time, so I suppose he may have some sort of merit.

It looks to me to be just like the blur you get on faraway objects when you focus on something near. Example

Maybe he's been staring at computer screens too long. Someone would have to do one hell of a job on that in short time. Plus, it comes from a pretty well respected press agency.

Failing those arguements, tell him i'll swordfight him.
