I’m reminded that nature still controls the world when it rains like tonight. I walked into the bar dripping from head to toe and tapped my cuff on my jacket. The clothes dried out just like they always do. Something about absorbing moisture I don’t claim to understand it I just know it’s useful.
            I absorbed the smoke filled atmosphere
