:( I'm just so stunned by this. She is someone who I've always admired. I love her fics and remember her from HP too. She really impacted a lot of people through fandom - like you said, real, true friendships happen online just as much as anywhere else. This is upsetting me more than I thought it would - life's so fragile. :( *rambles all over you, oops*

I know what you mean, I was a little shocked how hard it hit me, too! Someone else said something in their post that pretty much summed up how I feel I think - it's like the online world is our getaway place. It's where we go to take our mind off 'real life' and to just relax and have fun, and it's supposed to always be there. And then something like this happens and it makes you realize that online or not, we're all still real people and yeah, our friendships are just as important as any real life ones and life everywhere is fragile. It's so sad. *rambles back at you, ahah ♥*

same with me. even though anj and i had tons of friends in common, we never quite connected. I've had her friended since she was rosasanguinea in HP too, and I still read all her posts.

It really is. Because even if we weren't that close with her, so many of our friends were, which makes it hurt even more because I feel so bad for all of them, too. Oh, life. *hugs back*

yeah, i know marks and lindsay in particular were close to her. I've never had someone I knew even as well as this on LJ die before, so I was surprised how much it affected me.

Your comment to Jaz summed it up nicely. I'm more upset than I thought I would be and I'm very sad that I never spoke to her properly when I had the chance. She seemed like a very wonderful individual and truly, I'm stunned that something like this would happen to someone like her. It's just so sad, Maxie. *hugs tightly*
