Q&A:
1. First off, in your perfect world, who tops?
Definitely both! Sometimes I lean towards Zoro being on top more, but there's no way in hell Sanji would always let him get away with it. They probably fight for it half the time.
Bonus follow up: Does it bother you if people write ZoSan, for instance, but Sanji is the one topping?
Nope. I consider ZoSan the pairing name, it actually throws me off if I see someone calling them SanZo. But no, I never really go into a fic expecting one or the other to be topping.
2. Sanji’s sexuality is? (ie: Gay Virgin, Bisexual, Only gay for Zoro, Manwhore?)
In my head, given that he considers himself a complete ladies man, he wishes he was more than just mostly straight but is self-aware enough to know that isn't the case. He's probably also super picky about what guys he'll admit to himself he finds attractive, but has zero intent to ever actually act on any urges towards said guys. Until Zoro comes along and fucks that right up.
Bonus follow up: If Kuina had lived would she and Zoro be in lurve and have a bunch of babies by now?
I doubt it. Especially the 'bunch of babies' part, since spending nine months at a time pregnant would seriously screw up Kuina's training regimen. Nah, I don't really see her and Zoro ever ending up together, had she lived. BFFs for sure, but I think there'd be a little too much rivalry and tension there (and not the UST kind), more on Kuina's part than Zoro's, especially when Zoro inevitably surpasses her in strength and size (not necessarily skill) and all that.
3. Mpreg. Who carries the baby?
Zorooo. Hahahaha. Although I'm not so much into mpreg and more for genswitch!Zoro getting knocked up accidentally. And then subsequently being very >\ about it for awhile whilst Sanji bangs his head repeatedly against a wall somewhere and has dreams about spoiling his baby girl rotten.

I'm with the 'Sanji names it something retarded and Zoro refers to it as "hey, kid"' group. And whichever gender it is, boy or girl, Zoro'd train the kid to be the next greatest swordsman. Which Sanji will bitch about if it's a girl. (I actually halfway kinda sorta very crackishly wrote this for my RP group awhile back >.>)
4. Why do they fight so much?
Because they piss each other off. Seriously, they irritate the crap out of each other; there's so much about them that's just polar opposites and they don't see eye-to-eye on a lot. But more important than all of their disagreements and whatnot is that they're nakama. So underneath that guise of disliking each other, they are friends in their own way and they probably actually enjoy their fights. Mostly because they love riling each other up. It's all pigtail-pulling and teasing beneath the surface. ;D
Bonus follow up: After they get together and have the sexings will that change the fighting scenario any?
Heck no. It might change the outcome, because once they get together I'm suuure all the fighting will end up being some sort of foreplay for them, but they'll definitely still bicker and fight.
5. What role does Nami play in their relationship?
Not a big one. Sanji would still dote on her (and every other girl ever) and Zoro might scowl at that more than he used to, but he would've gone into the relationship knowing there was no way in hell that would ever change.

He's their captain. Always. They'd still put supporting him and his journey to become Pirate King first. Not to mention the rest of the crew. Even if they were together, I think they'd be more devoted to the overall goal of everyone achieving their dreams.

Oh man. I'm kind of a single-minded shipper with those two, but there are definite times when I can see Sanji/Usopp (although more in a BFF kind of way) and I do have a soft spot for Zoro/Nami. On the rare occasion (mostly when I was RPing with an awesome Nami~ and sometimes in fanart) I'll flail over Sanji/Nami a bit. ...Okay, mostly I just love Nami, haha.
Bonus follow up: Is there a chance for those 4 to be in an orgy together? What would that be like?
Iiii doubt it. Usopp/Sanji/Nami/Zoro? Hahaha......ha. It'd be awkward. Luffy would have to be there. Yay original five! Except that Luffy + sex = oh hell no for me 99% of the time.

You want me to pick? Seriously? How about ALL OF THEM?! Haha, but no, seriously, umm... My ultimate go-to moment in the anime when I need some quick ZoSan interaction is when Zoro gets horo-horo'd and Sanji is just laughing his ass off at him. OH MY GOD, it's like...the best ever. Zoro looks so disgruntled, I love it to bits. And then the entire Davy Back fight. Obviously. And any moment after that when they do the team-up move. I pretty much die a little whenever it crops up, like in Thriller Bark or Strong World. Ahhhhhh so awesome. *__* And then in Water 7 when they're on the Den Den Mushi and Zoro is like "Tell him to wait for us!" and Sanji's like "What, are you worried about me, marimo?" And the first time they meet after Sanji's joined the crew, and the first time they fight together during the Arlong thing, and the first time they kinda sorta hang out during the celebration after the Arlong thing, before Sanji flails off to woo the ladies. The MINE-IS-BIGGER-THAN-YOURS dinosaur hunt on Little Garden. The Thriller Bark scene with Kuma and the fact that the first thing Sanji does when he wakes up is take off to find Zoro. That he keeps noticing that Zoro hasn't fully recovered, that he freaking LEAVES NAMI WITH FANKY to go help Zoro's group on Shabondy (I mean, he says it's Usopp's group he's going to help, but that includes Zoro!) and just...everything. I love every single time they show up in a panel or on screen together.
And then there are all the not-strictly-canon moments that the anime throws in, and thank god for whoever at Toei ships them. Two near-kisses, the dish washing scene, fighting over the surfboard in the one opening... So much yesss.
Bonus follow up: Which arc do you think has the most slashy moments between them?
Probably...Enies Lobby or Thriller Bark. Enies Lobby has the part where Sanji beats Jyabura, sees the directions on the wall pointing which way to go, says "I should deliver this key quickly", and then...turns around to go and get Zoro first. Like, he legit sprints up there and skids into the room to check on him and it's probably just because he figures Zoro would walk in circles and take a million years to deliver his own key, BUT STILL. He could've gone on without him. Yet he didn't.
As for the Thriller Bark bit, I know there are a lot of theories and opinions on why Sanji did what he did when he tried to step in for Zoro, but I think his history of having a little self-sacrificial streak and the fact that he specifically asks Zoro "What about your dream?!" points to the fact that Sanji doesn't necessarily consider himself expendable, he just knows that his dream isn't something he has to accomplish. I think he could accept everyone else on the crew finding All Blue for him, just so long as they do find it, whereas the only person who can become the greatest swordsman in Zoro's dream is...Zoro. He has to be alive for that one. I mean, Sanji probably would've tried to step in for any of his nakama right then, but it wasn't any of the others so it doesn't matter what he would or wouldn't have done-it was just Zoro. And I totally just went off on a tangent, but that whole scene and what follows after is...aljsdkhfs. Awesome.
10. When in the course of their travels do you think it was most likely that they’d get together?
...I have no idea. I could see it happening in a bunch of different places. Ahaha, pretty much after any major arc, really.
Bonus follow up: Do you think they’d keep their love a secret on the DL?
I think Sanji would want to at first, but Zoro wouldn't really give a shit and would employ zero tact in trying to keep quiet about it. I doubt he'd be like...announcing it from the heavens or anything, because it's no one else's business, but he definitely wouldn't care about being as hush-hush as Sanji would be trying for. But, Sanji's luck being what it is, everyone else would inevitably find out. And if they didn't, then Sanji would eventually warm up to the idea of telling them anyway.

Doubt it has anything to do with the author's leanings and is more just the nature of the fics, but both Fifteen Minutes by scuttlebutt_inc and Taste Challenge by maldoror_gw are excellent borderline ZoSan fics that don't quite venture into slashy "they're together" territory.

Not specifically... But Certain Rules and Laws of Engagement by dreaming_fate pretty much covers everything ever and I luuurve it. My ultimate favorite thing is get-together fic. *__* With those perfect awesome awkward moments and figuring things out and sometimes being in denial about it and other times trying to play it off as a friends-with-benefits kind of thing and being unable to stop it when it becomes more. And none of the blushy crying pathetic stuff.
