I haven't written much of anything lately except birthday greetings so, since I'm in a fairly good mood and the weather is great, I thought I'd just catch up!

Been doing some reading (non-TVseries-fanfic) lately and that's really good. Mostly Jane Austen and Jane Austen-fanfic. Also, currently reading "Rashi's

You are so right and it is so hard to surrender our most precious things to God! Max, you are a brave woman and I commend you!

I, too, am affected by the weather, just so much happier when the sun is shining. Which probably explains in part why I was never really unhappy in GTMO, since the sun was out like all the time LOL. And here, the winter has been dreary and I'm longing for spring to finally arrive!

Oh, I'm not so brave at all! Just because I can understand the passage intellectually doesn't mean I'm practicing it in my life! Grins!

However, understanding is at least a beginning of wisdom, right???

Glad to hear you had a good day! It rained here, and it was a normal level of exasperating at work, but I slept well last night, so I was up for it today :) It's supposed to snow here tonight - sigh - long johns again tomorrow, instead of a skirt and heels.
