Ok so did I make the wrong decision to go to Salem??? Should I have gone to Tulane like my family and friends wanted or should I have accepted that full scholarship to South and stayed here??? Ever since the group began moving off to our various schools I have been really upset, I mean they are only 4 hours away but I am going to be 11 hours away ( Read more... )

Salem's going to be fine. Yes, it's going to be hard being away from everyone, but being far away and not having the option to come home every other weekend will just make you stronger; it'll mean you have to workout your differences with people instead of just saying "That bitch" and going back to safe ground. Yeah, it's scary and there are times it'll be tough, but it will be so worth it.

Hugs to Emma for me. After awhile, she'll get used to Donnas boy-toys and learn to either ignore them or exploit them. That's why they exist, after all.

Love ya bunches and I will definitely miss you!

A girl I know from ASMS is at Salem - Jessica Nelson, I think. Maybe you guys will run into each other.

I kinda know how those doubts about making the wrong decision are - I kept wondering if I should've stayed nearby and just taken the UAB full scholarhip, stayed in the South and everything, but, think of it this way - if things don't work out in Salem (which probably won't happen), you can always downgrade to in-state or transfer to someplace less selective...

But if you had just taken the USA scholarship and left it at that, you might have always wondered how things could have been... Anyways, good luck!

It was hard to leave my sister too. And so much of me has been wanting to go to South the past few days. But it's awesome to be away Marla, and you'll be fine.

Well at least we have the same feelings, and I hope Salem works out for me as much as Alabama works out for you
