So you got a b and you are now sad.

Cheer up. Come to Sears and just spend your heart away.

Unless you plan to be an academecian or a doctor, grades don't matter too much. I got an offer for a job that pays $60k the first year the other day, and my GPA is only 2.67. Grades... just don't matter.

I know a manager @ a chemical company who doesn't hire people with 3.8-4.0 GPA's... And no, it's not because he's scared that he'd be hiring someone smarter than he is... he's incredibly intelligent himself. It's just that most people he's hired with that grade range are perfectionists that don't perform well in teams and get too much stress on the job.

"Let R&D have 'em," he says.

Private sector kicks ass.

Unfortunately there is a pHD in my future, so i gotta work my ass off, but thanks so much for the hope!!!
Sure I'll come find something to get at Sears!
