In defense of the unevenness, consider that for birthstones, one person may get aquamarine while another gets sapphire! Is this "fair"? No. Is it the word of God? Yes.

(I like how you kept April as it was, despite us nearly losing our lives over it ;))

I think that in the big legume scheme of things, being common is good. IT stops you from being stuffed full of larvae.
