Yesterday Nick set up my new computer desk and I finally got to use my new computer (also put together by Nick). Oh. My. Freaking. God. It is sooooo fast. My old computer was insanely outdated - I'd gotten it in 2001 before I started college. The new one isn't top-top of the line, but it's damn close for the $500 it cost to get the component parts

MY IPOD IS SOOOO AWESOME!!!
I feel like the coolest college student in the WORLD.
Although there's one small problem that I haven't been able to solve satisfactorily...you see, when I listen to my ipod as I'm walking to class, I have this overpowering urge to either sing or dance, but as none of the other ipod-clad people walking seem to show the same symptoms, I feel that I should refrain. Everyone here always looks so damned serious when they're walking around with their ipods, it's like, are you listening to NPR on that thing or what? Why is it that no one else has this problem? Oh well.. I guess once the genuine ipod-coolness really sets in, I won't want to sing or dance around dorkily anymore.

Yay! I'm glad the iPod works for you. It makes life so much more fun. And it's great for exercising too (just don't sweat on it, since that's how I messed up my first one). I totally have that problem too, with the wanting to sing and dance and such. In fact, I've given in a few times and gotten some odd looks. Stupid people. Maybe they're just not as attuned to the primal nature of musack as we are.
Oh, and your icon is tres cute.
