As promised I will of course leave not one, but hopefully many comments!

I can't stress enough how much I appreciate Max's interest in complex the world of urban design and the goal to make more livable cities. It is a big journey you have started and I am only happy to help if i can.

Ok, i have a question:
One of the problem in Russia is corruption. That is why most part of interesting project can't be start or finish as it was planed (changed material for more chipper, cancelled original design or idea etc.). So, how do you think that we have to do to solve this problem?

I think the answer to corruption is out of my league.
But wherever you work, there are always a negotiations and adjustments process. The key is often to communicate the vision/idea and build capacity within the project organization (Political, public and private partners), that will hardly help corruption, but hopefully it will allow the idea to survive the process.

Good questions villadsen November 3 2011, 11:44:24 UTC
Dear All
What an overwhelming welcome, there is a lot of good questions to be answered. Unfortunately I don't have all the answers that doesn’t mean one shouldn't ask, asking is still the best way to put focus on a topic and I am personally learning about the Russian situation through your questions.

Best
Kristian

have you ever been to Switzerland, how do you find it? Is it reasonable to go to Danmark if i were in Swiss (in meaning to see anything new).
