A lot of interesting stuff was planned for today. First of all, I wanted to send something to St. Petersburg since there is an architecture competition going on there and applications are accepted only till 1, November. Second of all, we were going to have a city tour with Lars Gezmoe and a lecture with Jan Gehl.

One of the problem in Russia is corruption. That is why most part of interesting project can't be start or finish as it was planed (changed material for more chipper, cancelled original design or idea etc.). So, how do you think that we have to do to solve this problem?

But wherever you work, there are always a negotiations and adjustments process. The key is often to communicate the vision/idea and build capacity within the project organization (Political, public and private partners), that will hardly help corruption, but hopefully it will allow the idea to survive the process.

What an overwhelming welcome, there is a lot of good questions to be answered. Unfortunately I don't have all the answers that doesn’t mean one shouldn't ask, asking is still the best way to put focus on a topic and I am personally learning about the Russian situation through your questions.
