i'm participating in the new york aids walk on sunday. if you'd like to sponsor me, go here. it doesn't have to be a lot, every bit counts. don't feel bad if you can't. just the idea of walking with hundreds of people for a good cause is enough.

I tried this method. It was not successful because you can't donate any less than $25 at one time and apparently all my upper-middle class college students friends are poor. Eh, well, guess I'll get some money together from the two or three people that are geographically close and whom I know well enough in person to ask for money.

you actually can. you can type in whatever amount you want in the space they provide. but yeah i don't blame anyone for not wanting to spend their money. i doubt i would. but not everyone who reads this is a college student, so... couldn't hurt. i sent emails out to my family. that helped.

If only my parents would openly give money to the Gay Men's Health Crisis... sigh. I think it's pretty much just going to be me, Dan, and my new roommate contributing. Still, that's better than nothing, right?
