however, you know my answer already: suicidal death machine. i have seen in gory detail many times what those sweet little love machines can do to a human. UGH.
and more often than not, it had nothing to do with how the motorcyclist was driving, and everything to do with the people in the large cars around them.
i almost lost a good friend because of someone not paying attention, hitting him, and dragging him for over a mile under her car because she wasn't even aware she had hit someone. other drivers flagged her down, and a couple of burly men were able to lift the car off of him. had he not been in his complete riding leathers, there's no way he would have lived. as it is, he was in the hospital and recovery for MONTHS, he almost lost complete use of his right arm, and he's an artist, so she might as well have killed him.
suicidal death machine. i've had too many friends get too fucked up on those things due to some asshole not paying attention to them, and through zero fault of their own. plus, since you're in your mid-30s and only just now thinking of one, it sort of screams "middle-age meltdown", and i think we're all still a little too young for that.
i had an ex who literally almost died on a motorcycle- and it wasn't at all his fault! ironically some guy in the room next to him did die being involved in the almost exact accident with exact injuries.
