So today it was made official - I got my promotion at work. I've been at dunnhumby for 5 good years now and this is the first time I've been promoted there. Admittedly I joined at a moderately high level due to having plenty of experience and being generally a bit older than the majority there (I'm 34, above average age in the company). dude, congratulations! your concerns are pretty natural for such a thing but no doubt you'll do great :) you wouldn't have gotten this far if you weren't up to the task!

Oh, and PS - It's actually something of a relief to know that you occasionally have some self doubt, because you see, that's a normal thing for humans. Glad to know you're one of us, even if your doubts are ENTIRELY unfounded.
