OK, so her childhood won't be entirely normal, but I think we can make a decent stab at it. At the very least, anyone who messes with her normality will be in a world of trouble. As for your parents, you can tell the truth without freaking them out. Just insist that she's our kid together. You don't have to explain it -- just tell them tough, they've got to accept it. They'll probably think that you're just being metaphorical and/or irrational because, well, love does that. I think they'll come around.
As for the weird other universe vision thing, I don't think it's a big deal. As someone who knows you pretty well, I can say very definitely that I'm not worried about your becoming "evil other-Max".
