you know what? I was just thinking while going to the bathroom, something I do from time to time... think I mean. and bathroom I guess, but whatever, that's not the point. I was thinking, how much money do movie companies, or musicians, or whatever, how much money do they actually lose to piracy and illegal downloading? that's all folks.

I was actually reading this in a newspaper a few days back. The movie buisness looses $2.5 to 3 million every year to piracy.

There are conflicting reports, depending on what side tells you about the statistics.... It's all numbers anyhow and they can be manipulated to say whatever you need them to say. The movie and music industry says they lose money and there are articles out there that says peer to peer networks generates income for the music and movie industry.
