They step out of Milliways and into Duo's apartment. "Funny thing," he says, holding the door open for her. "I had just gotten used to expecting the weather, and then I go back up. Sorry about the boxes, I'm still sort of unpacking."

Trying to get the lay of the land again hasn't left him with much home time.

"There's roofs," she adds, ungrammatically, but most of her attention is on the room. She's looking around with interest.

It's River, so odds are good she finds the sight of half-unpacked boxes just as fascinating as a fully decorated room would be.

"Well yeah, but there's generally less of it in space." Especially on L2. Hooray for water shortages. Why did Duo not move to L4, you ask? Good question.

It's a fair bit smaller than his previous place, but he's the only one living here, for now. And it's still spacious compared to bunking on a ship.
