Notes: My 2nd attempt at writing a drabble, real life people, oh and humor! D: #6 really PHAILED. I mean.. it went out of topic because I'm going nuts here, and I kinda rushed it. I STILL fail on my 2nd attempt. So please criticize me, I'm deprived for Yamabu & Hikato. *SHOT* For HSJ-thon, here. & This is unbeta'd. & I do not know how to write Ryutaro. D:

1. He was thoughtful.
"SURE, Hikaru just LOVES cat plushies," the JUMP members chuckled, whilst Hikaru was busy trying to get Keito's attention, so he didn't hear their conversation at all. "Really?" Ryutaro did not sense the tint of sarcasm in their comments, and believed that Hikaru loves cat plushies.
That moment rang in Ryutaro's mind as he stood in front of a store, staring at the huge letters of the store. It wasn't for any particular reason, but he was simply passing by these shops while on a shopping trip with his family. Though, Ryutaro had strayed away absent-mindedly.
He walked into the store, stared at the shelves full of furry horrible forbidden stuff for Hikaru, and purchased one with the thoughts of giving it to Hikaru as a thoughtful member-ai gift.
Though, Hikaru wasn't so pleased about it. His face cramped up, and twitched non-stop as Ryutaro held the forbidden object in front of his face. The JUMP members were SHOCKED beyond words, but the BEST members were definitely laughing evilly in the background.
"They said you love cat plushies, and I happened to come across them yesterday, so.." Ryutaro gave his senpai a small smile. "L-Love?" Hikaru laughed nervously, taking small steps back, AWAY from that horrid thing. Though, Ryutaro took steps forward, unable to sense the tension, nor did he hear Takaki say, "I need to pee," after having to laugh too much.
Being considerate, Hikaru took the cat plushie, though his hands, arms, and legs were trembling. He made a face after having to hold the plushie. "T-Thanks, Ryutaro!" He stuttered out, forcing to make a normal smile, though his attempts failed. "Well, see you then!" Ryutaro waved at him before skipping away.
The moment Ryutaro was gone, Hikaru had already fainted onto the ground, with imaginary foam at his mouth.
The worst gift Ryutaro has ever given to someone.. other than giving Yuuto a pair of oversized underwear, but that's a completely different story.
2. He went strawberry picking.
"Yama-chan," Ryutaro called out as he saw Yamada came into the room. Yamada was surprised. Ryutaro NEVER called out him. Let alone call him 'Yama-chan'?
Yamada made his way carefully towards Ryutaro, hoping it was nothing that scared the wits out of him like he did to Hikaru a week ago.
"I went picking yesterday," Ryutaro stated. "Hah?" Yamada didn't understand what he meant. Picking his nose? He shrugged it off his mind, but watched as the younger member took something out from his bag and place in front of him three containers of fresh, ripe-red strawberries which all seemed flawless.
"We picked too much strawberry, and I thought you'd like some," Ryutaro gave him a grin. Yamada wiped away his drool, and gave the youngest JUMP member a hug, thanking him so much, to the point he didn't hear Ryutaro choke.
The best gift Ryutaro has given in his life.
3. He was just passing by.
Ryutaro wondered when he has become a messenger to his brother. A junior had asked him to send over a jar of cookies to Shintaro.
But of course, he didn't finish his mission when Chinen grabbed his hand and pulled him into the JUMP dressing room.
"Ryutaro brought cookies for us!" The hyped-up member cried out. "Oh! Really?" Takaki asked, as his head perked up. JUMP looked at Ryutaro, and then the jar of cookie.
Ten minutes after, JUMP had already finished all the cookies, while Ryutaro was still choking on the cookies each JUMP members stuffed in his mouth as their act of appreciation.
He didn't know whether to be happy that he made the JUMP members happy, or to be upset since he has no idea what to tell his brother why the cookies were gone.
Well.. he could just say he was attacked by a group of rabid chipmunks.. but that seemed unrealistic. Though, the image does fit the expression on JUMP's face ten minutes ago.
4. He thought it was Takaki's birthday.
Ryutaro couldn't remember why on his calender was circled, and written in it was 'Takaki'. Maybe it was Takaki's birthday?
Takaki was even more surprised himself when Ryutaro handed to him a wrapped gift, with a smile, and a birthday greeting face-to-face when they met up for work. "It's your birthday, right?"
Ryutaro left to change for work, leaving Takaki to wonder about it. "...But it's not my birthday."
"Maybe he forgot that he's paired up with you for the Hyakushiki show?" Yamada reminded him.
"Oh yeah.." Even Takaki forgot about that. "Well, can't hurt to see what he gave me!" He torn off the wrapping of the gift.
The title 'The Complete Idiot's Guide to Dating' seemed to have taunted Takaki for the whole day. He even wondered why Ryutaro actually gave him such a gift.
"Maybe because you need a guide and hints?" Yamada reminded him once more.
"Shut it, piglet," Takaki hissed as he shot a glare at Yamada who laughed at him.
5. He passed by a storm.
Ryutaro flipped through the pages of the magazine that his mother decided to buy for him. He was looking for any JUMP pictures, because.. well.. he just wanted to.
After a few minutes, a loose folded paper fell from the magazine. He picked it up, and examined it like it was a bomb. He opened it up, and gasped as he saw it was a free Arashi poster that came with the magazine. He paused and thought about what to do with it.
"Chinen?" Ryutaro entered the room, as he looked around for the shortest JUMP member in their dressing room. All the present JUMP members pointed at the corner of the room where Chinen was sitting on Takaki's lap on the couch.
"You know, I found something in a magazine," Ryutaro started. Everyone else looked at him, especially BEST. Has Ryutaro already been corrupted?!..
"And I think you'll love it," Ryutaro took out from his back, a neatly folded poster in a small plastic bag which he used to keep the 'freshness' of the poster.
Chinen's Ohno sensor went off as he KNEW it was an Arashi poster. He jumped off Takaki's lap and scurried off towards Ryutaro, glomping the youngest member. "YOU'RE GIVING ME OHNO'S ARASHI'S POSTER?! YAY THANK YOU!" Chinen screamed out in a high-pitched tone.
"Oh, an Arashi poster," BEST thought, letting out a sigh of relief, knowing that Ryutaro still had his innocence.
This was the 2nd best gift Ryutaro has ever given.

"I have an idea," Yamada spoke up as JUMP were awaiting the last member of JUMP to arrive. Ryutaro was oddly late that day. "I think we should buy Ryutaro a gift," He suggested, looking at the other JUMP members.
"I mean, he gave us cookies, and Chinen and I received the best gift ever," Yamada looked at them with a reasonable look. Chinen nodded with a smile, and agreed on with his idea. "Well.. maybe a dating book isn't the best gift, but I think it'll help me a bit," Takaki spoke up, giving his support to the idea.
"He was being thoughtful when he bought me the cursed cat plushie (which he kept very very very far away from his bed and stuff, but still considerate enough to keep it), so I'm in!" Hikaru grinned at them, raising up his hand. The rest thought about it, and soon enough, they agreed on that as well.
Ryutaro came in that day, but everyone had pretended that nothing had happened. He shrugged it off, and continued minding his own business.
After work, JUMP split up between BEST and 7, each decided to buy their own. Well, everything went well, until Hikaru decided to leave BEST for 7, and BEST ended up not buying anything since Hikaru was the one holding all their wallets. While Keito had the burden of Hikaru clinging onto his back, but he has learnt to ignore him.
"This is from us to YOU!, Ryutaro!" JUMP shouted out with a jump in the air and the wrapped gift in both of Yamada's left, and Chinen's right hand as they were in front as the lead.
There was an awkward silence.
"Thanks?" Ryutaro replied as he stood by the other door at the other side of the room. JUMP was shocked and surprised. They were JUST practising, but were unaware Ryutaro came in through the other door.
The young member made his way to them, and looked at the present with a curious look.
A few seconds later, his eyes gleamed as in his hands was a cute furry, adorable hamster plushie keychain. He looked up at the other JUMP members, with the same look as the hamster keychain.
JUMP simply laughed at his reaction.
Member-ai became stronger. In a family way.
