Maryella is such a pretty name :D I wish my parents had picked something so pretty, hahaha.

It's pretty cool to know some new stuff about you - I like reading about people...is that creepy? Haha!

Out of curiosity (you may have already told me, but my memory is like a sieve), is Spanish your first language, or is English?

And, if you don't mind, could you tell me what "against all odds" would be, in Spanish? I figured that if "contra todo esto he peleado" was "i have fought against all this / against all this i have fought", then "contra todo" has to be close? Just wondering. :]

Haha, thanks :) I used to not like my name lol, but since no one has ever given me a nickname I became used to it, and I actually like it now, its not a very usual name but here in Mex. thay tend to write it wrong, because the sound of my name is Mariela here lol.

I personally LOVE reading about people o.o hope that doesn't make me a stalker haha.

Yup, my first language has always been spanish, yet I've always spoken english too, I never went to english classes and I'm still trying to figure out how I learned lol, I blame it on Disney, all my movies are in english haha.

For the translation there is no direct traslation to that phrase. You could use "Contra todo prospecto" that is more like against all prospect "A toda costa" Which is more usual to hear, the meaning is that you'll fight for everything against anything. Or the typical "Contra Viento y Marea" Against wind or tide, that last one we use a lot for love phrases haha, if I remember correctly there was a soup opera named like that, cornyyyyyy.

Hope that was helpful <3

I would love to have an unusual name - I think it'd be wicked fun. Though it might be a pain in the butt if everybody's always wondering how to spell it? Hm. Oh well :]

Haha! Dude, if it makes you a stalker, I'm a stalker too! We could totally be ~stalkers together. :P

That's pretty cool! I wish I knew another language as well as you know English. I've studied French for years but not really gotten anywhere. Maybe I'll do that! I'll go find a load of Spanish movies and just watch and learn...somehow. Maybe with subtitles or something. Haha.

That is very helpful! Thank you so much :D I write a lot, and one of my characters is Spanish (though he speaks English, so it's much easier for me to write, hahaha!), so all these little bits and pieces are very helpful - and plus, it's always good to know little tidbits in languages I'm interested in :D I like a toda costa - is short and easy to remember, hehe! Aw, "Contra Viento y Marea" is adorable! The prospect of Spanish soap operas makes me grin maniacally for some reason - I detest the ( ... )
