you english is pretty good don't worry about it, especially since you were only here for a year but here's a tip

*What was funny *,,, i guess everyone can't contradict him. "he is the kinda our boss"(?) leader(?) (i can't think of good English word...)
* thinks for the future keep in the present tense, "so what is funny"
"" when using kinda, `the` comes after and and just use either `the` or `boss` but not both-
he is kinda our boss or he is kinda the boss
