Lesley-Anne, take a deep breath my dear, I sense the panic you are experiencing through your post. I have had a rough week as well. Perhaps we can debrief on Monday. Anyways, my post is not yet complete, so I should get back to it. Hopefully, I will have it posted before 12:00 am and get a decent amount of sleep tonight. Good luck with the essays,
It took me about two hours to find something to write about and I'm still not sure it makes any sense, so don't worry, you're not alone. As for the hives - ew... lol I'm just kidding. You poor kid. I hope next week brings you cookies and better luck. Stay in there. Love, Lisa
"but hopefully one of us was successful in finding a poem that just dealt with washing a dish or something"
Oh Lesley-Anne. That made me laugh in hysterics! You have brightened my essay-stress for sure. Thanks darling, and I hope the hives settle down, and as Lisa says, next week brings you cookies and better luck.
As at least one other person has done, you might have a look at William Carlos Williams' poem about the red wheelbarrow (also the plums in the icebox). One of the best examples I know.
I'm delighted to see that the stressed-out are surrounded by such kindness and comfort via the Comment feature. Good going, guys. Obviously I'm depressed when I see someone write "I'm not heading to the library, I am sick of that place, too many books, too little time," but that doesn't mean I don't understand. Still, as the Devil said about agony, this (books) is what we do here, y'know.....
Awww Lesley-Anne, I feel your stressful pain and to get hives on top of that. That is just not good. I join Janice and Lisa in wishing you better things in the future. Good luck with everything!
