Hey Lesley-Anne, Great post! As for your question, no I didn't get the vibe that he knew the songstress. The way he described her was too distant, there was no hint of intimacy in his words. At least none that I caught. Ciao,
There are moments when I'm not entirely sure whether I'm supposed to be reading your blog, Lesley (;>), but I do enjoy it. (And I too am always surprised when people want to take the test...)
Yes the posts are for everyone, especially you, you are afterall grading me and I know that grading is not pleasent, but it must be done. I am glad you enjoy the posts, I like keep my posts entertaining and relevant to the material, I also throw in a dash of humor and a hint of cheekiness. Keep enjoying. -Lesley-Anne
I also didn't get a sense of intimacy, in fact, I thought perhaps the women didn't even exist in reality. It was a tough poem, but it sure sounds great read aloud, doesn't it? So, really who cares what it means? As long as it sounds good, it is good? I don't know if all that is necessarily true, but I liked the poem for one reason or another.
