I fell for it again. I should know better by now!! Every time by some coincidence I start finding pics or icons or fanart of one freaking interesting character...I have this urge to go and see what the MANGA is about....
You know, just to find out if that interesting-looking character has an interesting story and so on...

The anime is okay? You're not kidding me? I haven't had the heart to watch the anime...because I fear anime in general. Like DgrayMan anime...I dunnn like it XOO
But if you say the anime is good and -more importantly!- that it's more shounen ai-sh...WELL, THEN IT SOUNDS INTERESTING!

By the way, do you happen to know if the pairing Ayanami/Frau has ever made an appearance in fandom?
Because I understand which are the regular pairings, and I love them! Aya/Hyuu and Frau/Tei and etc...but the dangers of even imaning an Aya/Frau thing have been corrupting my mind...

Well, if you’re not into anime I won’t recommend it. The animation was a bit irregular and there were a few things I disliked (like Teito’s portrayal, which was a tad too emo/whiny for my liking) but the overall result was good and I really enjoyed it. Of course I may be totally biased about it since I just love watching anime (Hey, I liked D.gray-man jaja), and seeing my favourite scenes animated had me fangirling all over the place... Yeah, I’m easily pleased ;)
The fandom is very small as you’ve seen, and I fairly new as well (I read the manga about a year ago); I haven’t seen much on Aya/Frau sadly, but I’m sure there has to be some. It’s a hot pair for sure! Well, I’m pretty much into Frau/everyone at this point xDD

Trinity Blood manga is amazing, so much better than the anime. The plot is great when it comes to Abel and his past and "family". I would really recommend it. XD

You should totally give it a try. It has a very interesting combination of themes. The regular comic relief, and the pretty guys, the weird theological interpretation and so on.
I've caught up with it now in manga verse, and I keep true to my original hunch: characters Ayanami and Frau are damn good and interesting, and DARK. They are cool and sad at the same time.
