I'm going to play the indifference card and just let him be. He wasn't even mine to begin with anyways.

I need to focus and concentrate on what I need and where I need to be. Life can serve so many blows but this is not one of them...this is just a slap on the wrist and a disapproving nod.

It will be a long winter.

that's a good way to describe it.. slap, not blow. I've been pretty disappointed with romantic outcomes lately too.. but unlike before, they have not felt like blows. I was suprrised.

I think you just get dulled and tired from it, more so than devestated. A few years back i would have been devestated, now it's just a shrug with a twinge of disappointment.
