One of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. His voice and the lyrics grab my heart and squeeze. If I close my eyes and listen, I can almost be fooled into believing someone has ever felt this way for me.

seriously, it's good to know that there are some artists who have the literary skill to write something besides, "drop it like it's hott!"

:) lucky me! i'd love to affect someone so much, s/he felt i'd arrested their mind.

gavin degraw is amazing. i put this song on in the studio and simply FLOAT around. on this particular CD he covers "change is gonna come" powerfully.

I seriously love Gavin DeGraw.
He came to our school's little EaglePalooza last year...and oh my goodness.
Before that, I had heard "I Don't Wanna Be" on the radio and liked it well enough, but when I saw him live and saw the soul that boy has inside of him, just WOWZA. He covered "Sexual Healin'" and "Let's Get It On" and I dare to believe that he may have even done it better than Marvin himself.
It's like his music just grabs you. It's absolutely amazing.
