So, my insurance has declined to pay for my next round of care. See, I'm now taking chemotherapy every four weeks (with concurrent bloodwork), and every eight weeks, I get an MRI to demonstrate that the cancer is at least not growing. If it were shown to be growing, we would stop the chemotherapy immediately and start a new type of treatment. ( Read more... )

fighting for coverage is one of the worst things sick people in the US have to do to get what they need.

I had an episode where I couldnt feel or move my legs for a couple days. mainecare wont pay for me to go to the nurologist to find out whats wrong.

things are screwed up.

I hope something is able to help you with the phobia like symtoms you have (definately sounds like a phobia) regarding small places so the free MRI is possible.

Insurance companies are so evil, I can't even stand to think about it. The way they treat people is downright criminal, you deserve better. Much love your way. (And thank you for the absolutely adorable card!) :)
