Room room

I have got a room which is very exiting. All I've had for years in an alcove and whenever I'd need it I had to inform people that "my imaginary door is currently closed, thank you". Headphones usually meant Do Not Disturb. But while I was away in Thailand there was a bit of moving things around and what used to be the dining corner now has four ( Read more... )

It's very small and I wouldn't personally go with all the wood, but it's very nice to have my own little space!

(Of course I remember you! I'm sorry I vanished all of a sudden.)

Yay for having a place that's yours!

Wow, your own space, that is a huge deal. Nice! And it has an orchid in it! I can't really tell if that window goes to an outside or inside area, but it's nice to have a window either way :)

I kinda like the pink hangers! I didn't know they existed in different sizes ... I always just buy the (giant man) standard size.

KITTENS! :D

Having my own space is great. The door and window are currently open almost all the time to allow the kittens to come in and out. And yes, the window leads outside, just the side of the deck.

Hangers come in all different sizes. It's good to have hangers the width of your shoulders for your clothes so as to avoid the fabric stretching or getting funny shaped in the shoulder area. Well, so it fits you! Consider the hanger a sort of stand-in for you.. Of course I have a lot of dresses just with straps and with those it doesn't make a difference.

This is too exciting! I shared a room for a long time, so getting my own (at age 29 no less!) was a big deal! Congrats and I hope you enjoy fixing it up. That's always my favorite part of moving, or getting a new space - decorating!
