The past day or so, I've emptied the dresser Otter was using, moved it to the hallway to prepare for moving it out of the house, emptied his closet, and started emptying my dresser into the additional closet space. During all of this, I have been sorting through the clothes and stuff to separate the things to move from the things we should have

The day Gary left for the Americorps (the first time we went long-distance, 5 years ago), I made the GRAVE ERROR of watching "The Notebook".
These days, I stick to netflix-on-demand and hulu versions of my favorite sitcoms - strangers with candy, 30rock, modern family. . .

Lucky for us both, this is just -temporary-. We have an other who loves us greatly, and if all that separates us is a plane ride, such is our good fortune!

(Yeah, it's lame in print, but it keeps me going. . .)

Yeah, that. Very much that. There's been plenty of saccharine lameness that's gone through my head, but if it helps...

I already knew of some things I shouldn't watch, but I'd forgotten about that particular plotline. (The show's a rewatch.) Oops.

Your Otter misses you too, quite a bit, and probably shouldn't have watched the "loved ones die in a horrible car crash" episode of Degrassi (though he didn't know that was going to be in it). I know the number of days apart is every day getting a little smaller rather than growing, but damn it if there isn't still a state or two between my and my sweetie being cuddled up together...
