New resolution for 2011:  Keep a folder of links for favourite R/Hr stories as the year goes on, so I don't YET AGAIN spend 8 hours on the last day of nominations trying to reread everything, only to send in a half-completed list a few minutes before midnight.  I did this last year, too

I did the *exact* same thing last night, though I only had about four hours. I think I acquitted myself well enough (for a half-completed list), but I feel guilty for not spending more time on it.

I really hope I didn't miss anyone! I guess we'll see when the noms come out :/

I'm hoping that between all of our half-completed lists we managed to cover everyone! It wasn't a big volume year, per se, but I feel like among my flist, those who did write R/Hr wrote some fantastic stuff. The art was gorgeous, too.

Special thanks to the Canonfest, Smutfest, and two LDWS communities for keeping all these people writing away!

Ohhhh man, I could NOT agree more about the folders for fics for next year's R/Hr Awards! It was disastrous trying to sort out my noms, and even then, I had to leave a lot of things blank because I was far too busy to devote enough time to it :( Very, very sad.

I have a charity fic to write too! Can't wait to see what you come up with :) Is this the fic for urbanmama1?

It is my urbanmama fic....I have most of it in my head, it's a matter of keeping my snowbound kids busy for a while so I can get it all down!

I started doing that a couple of years ago, and it really does cut a lot of time out of the process!!

And believe me, your nominations are appreciated, even if there are categories not included! :)

I'm just hoping that my noms cover the ones others missed and their noms cover mine. I got a lot of the category fics nominated, but it felt so much like Sophie's Choice that I couldn't choose which to put in "Best One shot!" LOL. I'm also worried because I got behind at the end of the year, and I'm afraid I left out some Dec, 2010 fic because I wrongly thought it was Jan, 2011 fic, because that's when I read it....

I hope you guys fill in the gaps with mods' noms again this year!
