Note to self:

The authors warn you. They say "angst" and "incomplete."

Stop torturing yourself. No matter how desperate you are for some fic, DO NOT CLICK.

Also: How stupid is it that I have trouble sleeping after reading certain kinds of angsty cliffhangers in long WIPs? Seriously, self. Get a grip.

I know you know what I mean...and, I feel a bit silly. Usually, I won't read anything that I know has OTHERS intruding...but sometimes I get sucked in to a WIP and then it's too late. The crap leaves my mind immediately, but there are a couple of really well-written stories going on that invade my brain and leave me as depressed and rejected as if I were the slighted party in the story.

I guess it's a compliment to those writers....but, DAMN my fragile psyche!

Damn them for writing so well and sucking us into the story! And for us being such lame arses to let it! hahahaha. Same with Outlander books tho. Sometimes I'd read a few chapters and be so mad about what happened I'd be grumpy all day!

I never minded WIPs, except for my own.

Me either. Sometimes I'll just read certain chapters in fic anyway so I don't really care if it's finished or not. I feel like I should be ducking tomatoes though - no one wants that kind of reader.

Dude, I'm reading fic to AVOID thinking about my own WIPs.

Tbh, I haven't even found much fic I want to read lately.

(Did you get my PM, btw?)

Okay, I don't think it's me to blame this time, but I may be adding to the general WIP stress a tiny bit. (Which is probably sounding really arrogant but I do have evidence to support my theory!) Um... sorry... *pets you* *hands you vodka*

Not your fault THIS TIME. But you have been before, foul demon. At least you give me pets and vodka to make up for it. (And, I must confess that I just reset my "Step Clock" after each chapter of LSTTL by reading "Curse of the Firsts" again. See? All better.)

Lol you have a Step reset button! :D You might be glad to know that part 1 of chapter 12 is complete and I am poised to write part 2 when it's not half eleven at night and a school night! Then again, maybe I'm being mean in telling you that... Sorry...
