AHA!   Finally, I am free from being lousy to the fabulous urbanmama1 , who generously made a donation to the HP Alliance  (check out some of the truly excellent work being done by Harry Potter fans around the world!) in exchange for a "second kiss" fic from me...It's not quite 6 months later, so I now only partially suck.   Here it is, my dear, I hope it

Oh this was definitely, as I expected, snogalicious! I love how sheepishly Ron made his bold comment and then waited for her response.

Also, I dig the fact that your Hermione had kissed more than Viktor. But of course none of those kisses could compare to her Ron.

“Wow.” Ron’s voice cracked endearingly. His hands were still on her face, and he stroked her cheeks with his thumbs.

Everyone who I knew who went to boarding school was pushed into going on random dates with their parents' friends' kids over breaks. I can imagine Hermione turning them down pretty strongly in most cases -- what would they have in common, anyway? But, Sixth Year Christmas? Hermione was all: "IT'S ON LIKE DONKEY KONG."

Having been on many of those "it's break and we're bored" dates myself, I can also testify that it's probably the most pointless and dull snogging of all the possible snogging in the world, LOL.

Glad you liked the rest of it, too! I'm a sucker for the cupped-face kisses as well!
