One of my glaring weeknesses is that I don't stand up for myself which I think people see and believe I do not have any values that I feel passionate about. I have a passion towards a lot of things, I know who I am and I know who I ultimatly want to be. Amen Brother Jon! We should start a support group or something. Actually though, I just don't worry about it too much. In the end, we surround ourselves with people that we feel either reflect or in whom resonate some aspect of ourselves that we appreciate or want to emulate. We must be doing the same for each of them, or they wouldn't be our friends. Do you feel sometimes an imposter or poser, wearing your new clothes and new face to your new friends? It's natural, if so. It's because you have history and depth, different sides etc. Your new friends may not get your old friends and vice versa, but ultimately, both ends will perhaps get you a little better, and maybe themselves too in an indirect way. Just make sure to not to be apologetic for either end. Be proud of where you've come from, and proud of where you are now. If you're not proud of where you came from, there's not really much you can do about that - you are who you are. If you're not proud of where you are now, change it ( ... )

Not everyone is perfect, but many have good hearts and are worthy of friendship.

dude jon, it's more like i'll give you an otter pop if you hang out with me! friends influence us a whole lot so i think it's important to be mindful who you keep around, but i think it's good to be friendly all around for the most part as well when you're strong enough to keep different perspectives.
