It would have been great if they could trim it down to 3 hours or so. The whole thing did feel much more dynamic then a regular primary though. During the Clinton surrogates speech he said that "We all know who the best candidate is" and then unwisely paused allowing half the crowd to start yelling Obama's name.

Hee!

Your caucus took a LOT longer than mine. I was there for three hours total, including the hour before helping set up and register people. People were annoyed by all that, and by how chaotic it was. I don't think they realize that everyone involved in running it was a volunteer, unlike elections where the people get paid.

Ah well. Most of the people who complained didn't understand that it wasn't the government running the show.

Ours was supposed to go from 2-6. I guess that they just didn't prepare for a crowd like this. Because there is no way that 30 volunteers can herd that many cats.
