i'm taking on quite a few changes. i'm cutting out the bad habits, and replacing them with good intentions. i need to take a break. i need to focus on what i really want to do. reality slapped me in the face, when i was talking to a friend about highschool graduations. come august, i'll be out of school for a second year, and i have nothing to show ( Read more... )

Kim, everything really is going to be fine. You acknowledge that there is more to life then living with your parents and working at Smoothie King. I say, go for it. Follow your heart. If you want to go volunteer on an organic farm for three months, do it. It will definitely be an experience, and even if you get older and aren't sucessful to other peoples standards, well.. atleast you got the experiences and fuck what they think success is. Success is going back and looking at all you've gone through and where you are now, if youre happy with yourself, that's success to me. I think you will be happy with the out come if you actually go through with your dreams.. even if it means living off of every single fucking penny you have. Keep going.
Tofu soon.

I know exactly what you're talking about.

I can empathize with your paragraph on graduation, etc. Although I'm in school, the other day it actually hit me that I'm not young anymore. This is my last yr of teenagehood. Whoa. You're not a loser. Don't let anyone tell you anything similar. Of couse you don't want to be working at smoothie king forever, but you're only 18. (I'm certain) it was your decision to work and if you wanted to you could easily be unemployed. You are talented and you are determined and driven and etc, I know you'll be successful in whatever you decide to pursue whether or not it's finanically rewarding. Take your time but don't take too much ( ... )
